India reported 918 new cases of coronavirus in a single day, bringing the total number of active cases to 6,350, as per the latest data from the Union health ministry on Monday.

The death toll in the country has now reached 5,30,806, with four new fatalities – two in Rajasthan, one in Karnataka, and one in Kerala.

The daily positivity rate, updated at 8 am, stands at 2.08%, while the weekly positivity rate is at 0.86%.

The total number of infections has reached 4.46 crore (4,46,96,338).

Active cases now make up 0.01% of total cases, with the national COVID-19 recovery rate at 98.8%, according to the health ministry.

A total of 92.03 crore Covid tests have been conducted, with 44,225 tests in the last 24 hours.

The number of recovered cases has risen to 4,41,59,182, with a case fatality rate of 1.19%.

220.65 crore doses of Covid vaccine have been administered nationwide as part of the vaccination drive, according to the ministry.
