A significant fire erupted in a chemical factory in Kundli, Sonepat on Sunday evening. Approximately 50 fire trucks, including some from neighboring areas, were deployed to extinguish the flames, according to a police official cited by news agency PTI.

The factory stored methanol and other chemicals, as mentioned by the Sonipat police official in a phone conversation with PTI. He confirmed that there were no reports of anyone being trapped inside the complex. “Around 50 fire trucks, some of which were called in from Sonipat, neighboring districts in Haryana, and even Delhi, are working to control the fire,” he added.

The cause of the fire is still unknown, and information about any casualties is pending.
