India was among the countries that took part in the fourth Meeting of the Moscow Format Consultations on Afghanistan, which took place in Moscow on November 16. The meeting was attended by special envoys and senior officials from Russia, China, Pakistan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. Discussions during the meeting focused on various issues concerning Afghanistan, such as the current humanitarian situation, ongoing efforts to provide assistance, intra-Afghan talks, the formation of an inclusive government, counterterrorism efforts, and regional security. According to a statement from the Ministry of External Affairs, the Indian delegation, led by the Joint Secretary (Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Iran) from the Ministry of External Affairs, also engaged in discussions with special envoys from the other participating countries during the Moscow Format Meeting.
